General Conservation Fund
General fund donations allow us to plug gaps, respond to emergencies (e.g. disease outbreaks, unexpected nest failures), and invest in scoping new projects before they have their own dedicated campaign.
Choose an amount
How your donation is used. Donations go to the cause you designated — but exactly what they pay for depends on what this project needs at the time. For example, £15 here could cover a DBS check, a bag of bird seed, fuel money for a volunteer, or a short research lit-review — whichever the project needs most in the month you give. Your gift always stays within the cause you chose; what it buys inside that cause is decided by on-the-ground need. This principle applies to every section and sub-section of our charity, Nature for People and People for Nature.
