Evolutionary Ecology Limited is led by practising ecologists with combined field experience across the UK and the wider MENA region.

Jordan Masters

Founder & Lead Ecologist

Jordan is the founder of Evolutionary Ecology Limited and leads the consultancy and charity programmes. His work spans UK protected-species ecology, MENA urban conservation, BNG delivery, invasive species management and selective breeding advisory.

Credentials

  • BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science.
  • Working toward CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management) professional accreditation.
  • Field experience across the UK and the wider MENA region covering protected-species survey work, BNG delivery and habitat creation.

Areas of focus

  • BNG at 20% / 60 years
  • Selective breeding (de-extinction, livestock, zoological collections)
  • Ethical pest control & invasive species
  • Urban & peri-urban conservation in MENA

Wanagwa

Ecologist / Partner

Wanagwa contributes field expertise and regional knowledge across our programme — with a focus on ecological research, species surveys and community engagement.

Credentials

  • Degree within the environmental discipline.
  • Working toward CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management) professional accreditation.
  • Field research and survey experience supporting species and habitat programmes.
