Mycelium & Fungi Products
Every viable product in our shop can be supplied in a mycelium or fungi-based version — BNG habitat kits, wildlife boxes, garden structures, insulation panels, acoustic baffles, compostable packaging, tree-stump alternatives and more. Mycelium is grown, not manufactured: it is compostable, low-carbon, and can be tuned to the substrate and microhabitat you need. Prices are not publicly disclosed — every enquiry is scoped individually because mycelium products are made-to-order and price varies by strain, substrate, size and quantity.

Why mycelium?
Fungi are the decomposers and connectors of every terrestrial ecosystem. Mycelium-based products let us replace petrochemical foams, pressure-treated timber and plastic habitat features with a biological material that is itself habitat as it degrades. Used carefully, a mycelium product adds decomposer biomass and invertebrate substrate to the site at the end of its design life, rather than becoming waste.
We source spawn and finished product from UK growers committed to native-compatible strains and compostable substrates. No polystyrene reinforcement, no synthetic binders, no additives that would stop the finished product composting at end of life.
